A Stunning Pair of Grand Tour Style Alabaster Table Lamps, Early 20th Century

About the Item

An extremely handsome pair of highly figured alabaster accent / table lamps. Both translucent, vasi-form bodies retaining their original fitted lids, raised overall upon turned socles atop squared plinth bases. The combination of form, colour and their dramatic natural striations make these sculptural objects extremely attractive, becoming absolutely stunning when illuminated from within. Likely of Italian manufacture. Both remain in very good overall condition, and are priced competitively in comparison to similar examples in the marketplace.
