About the Item
Unique Mid-century Danish studio pottery table lamp by ceramist Erik Graeser, made circa 1960s-1970s.
Great sculptural shape and interesting contrast between ceramic body and top made of solid teak wood. The colors are earthy brown tones.
Handsigned on bottom: Graeser
Included is a new lamp shade designed and made in Denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and it is off white. It has a top cover so it will spread a cosy light downwards.
About Erik Graeser (1927-2002):
Erik Graeser was a Danish sculpturer and ceramist. He studied at the Royal Academy of Arts from 1944-1950. He ran his own ceramic studio from 1951 and was a teacher at the Danish Design School in Kolding (Kolding Kunsthåndværkerskole) from 1968-1971. He worked with ceramic, bronze and granite and took part in many exhibitions.

Diameter bottom of base: 11.5 cm (4.53")
Light bulb: For type E26/E27 Edison screw-fitting.
The lamp is made for Scandinavian outlet. If you use other plugs in your country you can either use an adapter or exchange it with a plug used in your country.
