About the Item
A fine mid-19th century French Neo-Classical st. mahogany Psyche mirror. The whole is raised on four C scrolled legs fitted with ormolu casters joined by a cylindrical stretcher. The mirror in a Cuban veneered frame is held by two cylindrical mahogany columns decorated with finely chased ormolu mounts and urn shaped finials. All original patina and gilt. —
