A pair of artisan made mirrors with verre églomisé fanned acanthus leaf accents. These American made artisan mirrors, with their rectangular-shapes standing approximately 6.5 feet tall, feature two panels (upper mirror having a smokey appearance) framed within an cleanly designed antique glass surround, adorn with a large gold verre églomisé fanned acanthus leaf positioned within the mirror's upper panel. Verre églomisé, a French term dating back to pre-Roman eras, is the technique by which a design and gilding is applied to the rear side of the glass, with artistic detail being visible from the front. This pair of tall mirrors with églomisé acanthus design, would work well in both modern and traditional settings alike.
