Magnifique miroir en céramique de Mithé Espelt (1923-2020), modèle "Bornéo" qui a été pensé et dessiné en 1957 par la céramiste, probablement une édition des années 80. Ce miroir porte, dans la monographie qui est dédiée à l'artiste, le nom de "constructiviste" à tort. Il est réalisé suite à un estampage de la terre et est décoré d'émail, de verre cristallisé et d'or craquelé. Ce modèle est connu et est référencé. On le connait en rouge, en bleu, en blanc cassé... avec des variantes sur le verre cristallisé... Mais en vert, le miroir présente une rareté. Mithé Espelt, plus que le décors, les couleurs sont aussi l'axe de la collection. Lors d'une vente aux enchères le lot de 3 a réalisé un score de 12350€ pour la vente du 25 janvier 2023 pour 3 pièces aux couleurs communes.
