About the Item

Wonderful wall mirror from the Empire period, around 1820, made in Vienna, Austria, Europe. The mirror is in impressive good condition, only the mirror plate has been renewed to enable it to be used. This gilt mirror, circa 200 years old, has impressive stucco work in the corners with impressive swan decor. This object consists of a spruce substructure, the frame is hand-gilded with leaf metal. The back has been sealed with a wooden board and to allow for easy wall mounting there is a hand forged metal ring - if you want portrait or landscape we can change the mounting to your liking. Measurements approx.: height 21,46 in - 54,5 cm, width 18,90 in - 48 cm, depth 2,36 in - 6 cm inner measurements approx.: height 12,20 in - 31 cm, width 14,57 in - 37 cm Very decorative object with masterly executed swan decor, an original of the famous austrian Empire period.
