About the Item
An elegant pair of Louis XIV carved baroque giltwood mirrors,. Highly skilled organically carved floral ornamentation with a crown molding on the top of each mirror. Plywood on back with D rings ready for installation. Made circa 1700 in France. Frames all original with some restoration. Mirrors have been replaced in the past.
No obvious markings present on these mirrors.
In good condition. Some gentle wear consistent with age and use.
This elegant set of baroque mirrors would make a wonderful addition to any home. Whether in the halls of versailles or as a centerpiece in a sleek interior.
