Max Ingrand mirror Fontana Arte sculpture Butterfly shape mid-century.

About the Item

Fountain art mirror to be positioned in two ways with wings, downward, upward to your liking. The side parts include a unique bevel for objects machined from max magnitude. Talk about 1955-1965, Max Ingrand, whose full name was Maurice Max-Ingrand (Bressuire, December 20, 1908 - Paris, August 25, 1969), was a French glassmaker, decorator and designer. In 1954 he became art director of Fontana Arte, then part of the Saint-Gobain group. He held the position for more than a decade, in which he was responsible for overseeing and approving all of the company's products, as well as designing many of them himself. With its models (oggi commercializzati con il nome "Fontana") raggiunge presto un importante successo in tutto il mondo, diventando presto una forma archetipica per l'abat-jour e nei vetri lavorati da lui stesso. Nel 1967 lascia FontanaArte. Un pezzo come questa farfalla ci si attribuisce e fa parte della storia Fontana, note the beveling and glass diamonds. Vivid, pattern-filled colors from yellow to electric blue to beveled mirror make it a real masterpiece, especially note the reflection of the butterfly above the roof illuminating the butterfly from bottom to top. Its beauty in the blue and yellow stained glass, as we show in the photo is by no means small a true masterpiece rare mirror from 1950. Patina of time makes the colorful butterfly more magical. Unique and Rare. For luxurious vintage interior design projects and unique pieces for your environment. In the dark the mirror when illuminated becomes on the nile green. Recalling the colors of the two great crystal masters.
