About the Item

This Antique Italian Renaissance Revival Bed is a stunning example of the Renaissance style, with intricate carvings of Mythical creatures and Roman Gods in a rich brown waxed finish. Crafted from walnut in Italy in Circa 1850, this bed has a rectangular shape and measures 200cm in length, 160cm in width, suitable for an EU King size mattress. The Headboard stands at a grand 180cm, with the footboard measuring 160 cm. The Footboard crest has a pair of birds carved from solid walnut, with a Mythical creature to the end panel. There are a pair of matching Bedside Cabinets with Black Marble tops. The dimensions of these are 98 x 31 x 46 cm This original Italian bed is an a Fabulous Hand Carved Antique, that will add character to any bedroom. It requires assembly and will require a sommier/ slat bed base. these can be purchased online or a divan base can be use inside the frame. This is a unique piece of furniture and a must-have for lovers of Renaissance style. The external bed measurements to the widest point are 175 cm.
