Queen Size bed, elm, wood, Italy, 1970s
A captivating and sculptural double bed, made in Italy in the 1970s. This piece has amazing quality, not only visible in the design itself but evident in its skillful execution. The bed is made in elm with beautiful color tones and drawings in the wood. Dark wood alternates the elm in a chiseled way, creating dark lineair detailing around the sides of the bed and around the headboard. At both left and right there are nightstands integrated in the design, which creates a stunning all in one piece of furniture for a bedroom. Both nightstands have a single drawer for storing personal belongings. Between the mattress and the headboard is another storage space situated which is quite large, perfect for storing bed linen or a blanket.
