About the Item
A Folio of Maison Quantin, Paris, 1891 first edition text and plates. Chromomo-
lithographed plates by Gillot, colored and decorated in raised gold by hand.
The sevres porcelain factory produced some of the most beautiful and prized
porcelain of all times, The author presents an historical overview plus a table
of makers marks and monograms.
The Folio Binder has experienced some water damage, so have some of the
pages, however the damage to the plates is minimal. More images are available
to a interested party.
