A David Hockney rare hand-signed first edition/ first printing (with full number line "10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1") hard cover fine art book "That's The Way I See It" published by Chronicle Books., San Francisco, 1993 and printed in Japan. The most complete book of Hockney's work at the time of the now very renowned and prominent British artist. The book includes some 350 reproductions of Hockney's paintings, graphic designs, and experimental work as well as the artist's insightful and highly personal narrative. The book is signed (and briefly inscribed) playfully on the half title page in red and blue/green ink (David in red and Hockney in green/blue) by Hockney with additional stamps by Hockney including "Personal" and "Special" and "Hand Stamped by D.H." A very rare combination as the books we have seen signed and stamped by Hockney generally include only one stamp. A scarce, very uncommon, highly collectable signed first edition copy. Would be a great addition to any collectors of Hockney's books and art. Dimensions: 10.75" x 9.25"

A quite scarce and coveted hardcover book in slipcase - "Dali: A Study of His Art-In-Jewels (The Collection of the Owen Cheatham Foundation)". Bound into the book are color photographs of 28 jewels designed by Dali with comments and captions written by the artist himself. The book was published by The New York Graphics Society in 1959 - a quite collectible first edition/first printing (with no other printings noted) of the art book. The book is boldly hand-signed and dated (in the year of publication - 1959) by Dali on the lower corner of the first blank page/ front free endpaper. As such, exceedingly rare (we only know of two other existing copies, and only one was also signed in the year the book was published). A scarce signed edition.
