Jacko is mounted on a purple velvet cushion with gold threaded decoration. This large and substantial molded plaster model of the iconic Mid-Century Modern Greyhound 'Scenicruiser' bus has no maker's marks, but presumed to be made in the United States in approximately 1955. These models were reported to be used as display pieces in bus terminals and travel agency offices. Understandably, a limited number of these models were ever produced and only a few have survived given their fragile composition.
