Trio Of 19th Century Ninos

About the Item

This listing is for a TRIO of Ninos. These figures of the Baby Jesus was made in colonial Guatemala. They are carved from wood, covered with gesso, and painted with soft, lifelike colors. The glass eyes give it a realistic, gentle look. El Niño would have been dressed in fine clothing and used in religious ceremonies. Although this listing is for the trio of Ninos, please inquire if you only want to purchase one or two. The dimensions are as follows: Sleeping Nino: 8x3x2.h tall - broken finger Middle Nino sitting: 5.5x6x10.H inclusive the stand - all fingers intact, excellent condition Right seated Nino - 4x4x9.5 including stand. Two broken fingers otherwise in great condition.
