Victorian Novelty Golf Inkwell, Silver Plated

About the Item

Victorian Novelty Golf Silver Plated Inkwell. A fine quality plated golf inkwell with rectangular base raised on four ball feet. There is a single ink well mounted onto the base in the shape of gutter percha golf ball. The hinged lid on the golf ball inkwell opens to reveal where a glass liner once sat. A great desk piece for the golfing enthusiast. Maker unknown. Dimensions: Height 5.7 cm / 2 " Width 12.5 cm / 5" Depth 7.2 cm / 3" Period 1900-1949 Year C. 1890 Medium Silver plate Country United Kingdom Condition very good clean condition. The glass liner is missing.
