Rare American Sterling Silver-Mounted Threaded Crystal Match Striker By Durgin
About the Item
Rare, American, Edwardian Period, sterling silver-mounted threaded crystal match striker, The Durgin Silver Co. (William B. Durgin), Concord, New Hampshire, Ca. 1900. Measures 2 1/4 inches high x 2 1/4 inches diameter (at widest point). Has a full sterling silver match cup, the rim of which is marked sterling. The Durgin company mark is on the underside of the sterling silver match cup, and is visible through the crystal when the match striker is turned upside down. Dark areas in the photos are reflections. In very good antique condition.
