Antique Handcrafted German Railroad / Train Station Ticket Booth By Bing Bavaria

About the Item

Very rare and great looking antique toy train ticket dispenser by Gebruder Bing, Nurnberg (GBN). Since buying and selling only the rarest antiques has become part of our goal(s) in life, we did not hesitate one second when we were given the opportunity to purchase this extremely rare train ticket dispenser in the design of a railway station / station house. Especially, since it was from the earliest years of the 1900s (circa 1910) and by one of the most famous and most collected makers in the history of early European toy making. We know it is not in perfect condition, but that is also why we have priced it as fair as we have. We just want it to go to someone who understands its rarity and appeal so that it will be passed on to the next generation via a larger collection. The two train tickets were kept with this piece by the former owner. One of the train tickets was made to fit the actual ticket dispenser, which still works by simply pulling the small button. Around 1910 this dispenser would have also come with tickets specially made for this house. The detachable roof seems to be in perfect condition, but the house certainly is not mint. However, when you find something this rare and desirable to collectors both in Europe and 'across the pond', the wear and missing pieces are not that important. We hope it will complete someone's railroad Bing collection and that it will soon be enjoyed again by the right people. Our fair price for this very rare and collectible antique includes perfect packing and also worldwide delivery from our store to your door in just 4 to 6 days. If you are in the US then you will not have to pay any import duties for this antique either as we will take care of the necessary paperwork for that also. Maximum width x height x depth as in first image: 7.2 x 6.9 x 6.5 inches. We have a passion for the unique, for quality, for stylish yet practical and for craftsmanship of years gone by. Your purchases will be extremely well packaged and we look forward to serving you (again).
