    By Barrère & Thomas, Paris
    Located in Atlanta, GA
Girard, Barrere, and Thomas Paris manufactured this impressive terrestrial light-up globe in the 1950s. Geographer J. Forest designed it. This library glass globe is covered with print paper rotating on a chromed metal and aluminum stand. Besides regular countries' maps, there are ocean currents and the main trade routes of the period.
