Diminutive 10" diameter Replogle Precision Globe circa late 1952 / early 1953 (Israel, Korea, and Ethiopia are present). Charming desk / bedside decorative object, given its size (roughly 2" smaller - width, depth, and heigh, than a typical globe), offering a warm light source. Composed of paper gores over glass, supported by a metal base and cast metal half-meridian with on / off pull string. Newly rewired. Spots of paper loss present (one significant section in the North Pacific Ocean) and general wear to the globe itself, along with scuffs/oxidation to the metal elements . Measures: H 14" L 10.75" D 10" (globe diameter is 10").
