Chinese Export Six Panel Gilt Lacquered Folding Screen
About the Item
Gorgeous Chinese export six-panel lacquered folding screen featuring idyllic gilt landscape scenes. Each panel is decorated with a painted scene having a fertility motif of young boys playing near pavillions scrolling designs. The panels are thick and have a black lacquer ground conjoined by patinated brass hardware. Supported by square legs with shaped aprons on bottom. From an estate in San Francisco, CA. Each panel is 14.5 inches wide.
