Hand Knotted Khotan Rug, circa 1900

About the Item

This antique, circa 1900, Khotan rug has a grey field with field with an overall design of two rows of dusty-pink pomegranate and leafy vine, in a sandy-yellow border of linked dusty-pink and chocolate-brown square linked panels each containing a central hooked motif, small part lozenge stripes at each side between dusty-pink hooked lozenge stripes, outer part lozenge and diagonal panel stripes.
