This antique, circa 1890, Khotan rug has a grey-blue field scattered with brick-red and light purple lozenges and angular hooked floral motifs, in a narrow sky-blue border of sandy-yellow and charcoal-black angular rosettes and cross-motifs alternating with angular flowerhead sprays between a light purple and brick-red meandering floral and dense angular floral spray stripes.
