Antique Malayer Kelegi, with Brown Field
About the Item
The dominant pole medallion of three conjoint hexagonal panels is, out on a skinny conforming abrashed brown field decorated with sickle leaves, and with en suite half hexagons along the sides. Large geometric botehs accent the straw corners. Main straw border with crosses alternating with bug-like palmettes. Moderate weave on cotton. Good condition, almost a long rug (kellegi).
