About the Item
Absolutely flawless antique Persian Sarouk featuring a red/maroon field surrounded by a navy blue border.This classic rug is decorated with large flowers and a very small floral medallion. The rug is made with superb resilient and well pounded wool which after over a hundred years of use still is fresh and full pile.
Dyes used to make this rug are all natural. All sides and ends are original. There are no restorations on it and the fact that the size of this rug is almost square makes it very unique and rare.
