About the Item

Collaborative with virtually any style interior, Orley Shabahang’s Rain No.2 measures 8’11” x 11’7” and is hand-knotted in pure wool. With cascading shades of cream and light taupe wool, Rain No.2 illustrates the familiar shapes of falling rain by arranging small tribal motifs in an oscillating, all-over pattern. Utilizing the subdued contrast between both tones, owner, and lead designer Bahram Shabahang wanted to create a design that will provide the foundation for virtually any space. Orley Shabahang works house to house and village to village with our weavers, working to preserve the art of weaving as a cottage industry. Implementing these ancient weaving methods ensures that Orley Shabahang creates the family heirlooms of the future.
