The town of Sivas in central Turkey is the easternmost carpet producing town in that country. The rugs woven here usually have patterns that are based on those found in traditional Persian rugs and carpets. These rugs are woven with symmetrical knots on a cotton foundation. This rug has an ascending shrub pattern in a vinery lattice on a pistachio field. 5' 10" x 3' 11"
