This well-woven Anatolian city carpet follows the classic Persian Tabriz protocol with a sandy field centered with a small rosette, surrounded by palmettes, barbed sinuous leaves and floret sprays, in a four part allover pattern. The well-executed border features rosette roundelles alternating with lobed cartouches. Cotton foundation. Good condition. An allover beige field with beautiful jewel tones surrounding it.
