Hand Knotted in wool, this 6x9 vintage Turkish rug originating from Turkey, circa 1960-1970, features a unique addition to the Vintage Collection.
On the Design:
Connoisseurs will admire this vintage Turkish rug’s design which explores geometric sensibilities in a bold fashion, which is believed to be designed by Zeki Múren. Keen eyes for detail will admire that this piece specifically is most likely among his subversive approaches to traditional rug patterns with more playful colors, as seen in this light turquoise green which underscores beige and burgundy red floral patterns in border and medallion alike.
It also features some fine gold detailing and chocolate brown detailing, a lovely piece of boho chic with a natural center of gravity and refreshing, personal feeling.
