This presented armchair was designed by Hugo Gorge, circa 1920 in Vienna.

Hugo Gorge was a member of the Werkbund.
He worked also for the Werkbundsiedlung.

The armchair was made of walnut and the upholstery is newly covered with brown real leather.
The back features an extraordinary decoration.

This is a very beautiful masterpiece of the Art Deco era!

The condition is very good with minor signs of age and use and so the armchair shows our beloved great patina.
