About the Item

We offer for sale a retro armchair inspired by the English style reupholstered between the 90s and early 2000s with a splendid original fabric by Fornasetti series the "Library". Stable and solid, it is an armchair with a heavy solid fir wood structure, reupholstered by hand in a traditional way. Comfortable with its ergonomically correct backrest, rigid armrests and a comfortable cushion padded with feathers, it is made indisputably fascinating by the fabric designed by Piero Fornasetti. Ancient books, teapots and chiseled mugs that seem to have come out of an 18th century engraving, black ink on an ivory white background; and also eyeglasses and work tools such as scissors and compasses crowd the cerulean blue shelves of a fantastic imaginary bookcase. The "Library" series is currently out of production so you are buying an item that is not easily replicable at the moment. The conditions of this armchair are good, perfect padding, solid and rigid as if it had not been particularly used. The fabric has some imperceptible imperfections highlighted in the photos: a small stain on the lower part of the seat and other small at the height of the feet. Reach out with any questions.
