About the Item
The Slide series is inspired by both the brutalist and geometric form of urban furniture typologies. This piece, designed by the duo Heim+Viladrich, consists of a bench crafted from burnt, brushed, and waxed Douglas fir. This surface treatment provides protection against moisture, enhances the natural wood grain, and the wax adds a glossy touch to the surface. The wood used comes from a local sawmill located in Le Vigan (South of France) and was produced in their atelier.
