About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely original suite of four circa 1810-1820 Regency hand painted green with floral details bergere chairs A very good looking well made and collectable suite. These were the height of fashion in the Regency era when everything original hit English high society by storm These chairs are 100% solid and stable with the bergere being in fine order on all chairs apart from the last which is slack. I can have this replaced for the cost price but have left it as it is to keep it all original Dimensions Height 81cm, seat height 43cm Width 38.5cm Depth 45cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
