Austrian Midcentury Beechwood Stacking Chairs by Sonett

About the Item

Austrian midcentury bright beechwood stacking chairs Sonett by Karl Fostel Sen.’s Erben Vienna Austria. They feature black lacquered steel frames with rubber shoes and bright beechwood seats and backs. They have elegant slim proportions and very light weight. Some of them market Sonett, and some are labelled by the Viennese Veterinarian University, so they have been in use there in former days. They are in beautiful charming vintage condition with some wear and ready for use. After the second world war, the tubular steel furniture factory Karl Fostel Sen.’s Erben, founded in 1890, specialized in modern and outdoor furniture made of steel and light metal. Based on the tradition of metal furniture, the company developed the series Sonett as a product line for modern furniture.
