Pair of 1940s Sled-Base Club Chairs in Vivid Floral Upholstery


Unique sled based, button tufted, clean lined club chairs in a vivid needlepoint-like floral upholstery of greens, rust, lavender, light blue and black. Bleached mahogany parallel sled leg are substantial and characteristic of American Art Deco designs of the 1940s. Mostly likely these club chairs were reupholstered sometime in the late 1970s.
