Buyer Protection Guaranteed

This rare model 165 daybed was manufactured in the early 1960s by Auping in The Netherlands

The design is most likely by A.R. Cordemeijer who also was responsible for the "Cleopatra' daybed that you find more common

Other Famous Dutch modernist designers like Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld also did a few designs for Auping late 1950s to early 1960s

Black enameled metal frame that holds a steel spring mattress with very nice angle shaped solid teak headrest and footrest

Our in-house upholstery atelier fabricated a new mattress with bright coloured yellow/green tone De Ploeg fabric that gives a nice contrast with the teak and black of the daybed
The cushion roll is held in place with leather straps

The legs can be removed for easy transportation.
