About the Item

An exceedingly rare chair designed by Carl Malmsten. The “hangsits” armchair, c. 1947 in solid pine and original green fabric. From Sweden these chairs weren’t offered as knock down furniture that was shippable so to find any in America is rare. Great shaped horn tips give an nod to Finn Juhl, boxed frame with an angled back for comfort. Dimensions: 30.5”H x 27”D x 23.25”W. 15.5” SH. Condition: Wear to the pine frame from use, commensurate with age and use. No visible breaks or repairs. Fabric is worn but is still usable. Shipping: This chair will be shipped by personal courrier. Please allow at least 4-6 weeks for delivery depending upon your distance from the east coast and our shippers routes.
