About the Item
A notable early French settee in a custom fabric treatment. The frame with high arms and canted back corners. Carved ribbon and leaf motifs on the crest rail, ribbon motif on the seat rail and Louis XVI legs.
Upholstered in a fine red and gold damask with black and white rampant lion accents. The back and sides in coordinating checkered pattern.
Measures: Length 59", depth 28", height 36", seat height 17"
Condition: Some cracks to the crest rail, scrapes to the top frame corners and legs however the Settee sits solidly and presents very well.
