About the Item

This stunning side chair was realized by the esteemed American designer Russel Wright in the United States, circa 1940. It features four conical splayed legs in ebonized walnut; and a curvilinear stylized s-form body with button back detailing that has been newly reupholstered in a luxe slate mohair. With its clean modernist lines (realized by one of the period's greats) and monochromatic palate, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Art Deco to contemporary. It has been newly reupholstered and restored to mint condition. American, circa 1940 Dimensions: 25" D x 18" W x 34.25" H Seat height: 20".
