The Hayworth Ottoman has a removable cushion that rests upon on a sturdy Iroko foundation with slats for drainage. The cushion is made from outdoor dry-fast foam. All of our outdoor upholstered pieces come standard with an ivory outdoor woven textile (not pictured here). They are also available as COM (customer’s own materials). Please specify your preference upon ordering.

The set is after fully renovation with the original specifications with use of the highest quality foam and rubber. It is again upholstered in a luxurious woolen "plush" fabric from Belgium. The chair stands on stainless steel slides to protect the chair and fabric. In excellent condition.
Both are original pieces from the 1960s. This set is the same as the red chairs used in the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey" by Stanley Kubrick. Those pieces are a part of Center de Pompidou and the New York's MoMA collection.
This epic set of modernism from the Mid-20th Century is as beautiful as it is comfortable and will surely become a delightful piece of furniture in your home.
Condition:
This “Djinn” set is in perfect condition, after fully renovation process, has new stripes, foam and was reupholstered in luxurious woolen fabric from Belgium.

About the Designer:
Olivier Mourgue (French, born 1939) is a French artist and industrial designer. Best known for his design of the Djinn line of furniture, Mourgue's aesthetic is characterized by brightly colored jersey fabric stretched over structural steel frames that are filled with polyether foam, creating a unified, futuristic, alien-like modular form. The new Sunset bergère is made up of two distinct parts: the shell and the headrest for a specific reason: lighten the silhouette of the product by creating a visually harmonious line. The outdoor stretched and rigorous surface contrasts with an internal padded coat that is much softer, creating an original graphic design. The comfort of the seating area is accentuated by the reclining mechanism, available only in the variation with the headrest, whereas the base is equipped with a rotation mechanism both for the armchair and the bèrgere version. Sunset combines in an ideal way sophisticated design, maximum comfort and high-quality materials and techniques. Available with various upholstery on the aluminum star base. Completely removable covers.
Structure: Shell and headrest are in plywood with variable-density polyurethane foam (40IP e 30IM) covered with velfodera coupled with resin 100gr/sqm.
Feet: In polished or painted aluminum. The base is equipped with rotation mechanism both for the "armchair" version and for the "bergère" version. Only for the latter, it’s possible to add the tilt mechanism.
Padding: The seat cushion is in variable-density polyurethane foam (50IP e 35IMM) covered with velfodera coupled with resin 150gr/sqm. Arms and lumbar cushions are polyurethane foam core 35IMM covered with velfodera coupled with resin 150gr/sqm.
