1910 Rustic Adirondack Bentwood and Board Rocker

Craig Gilborn wrote a wonderful reference book on this type of rocker. "Adirondack Furniture and the Rustic Tradition". In the book you will find a chair that looks to have all the construction and unique design details of this early rocker. They say 1910 Hickory and ash rocker of the type found in the early Blue Mt Lake camps. The finish is rustic and the design has an Arts & Crafts feel to it. I'm over 200 lbs and can sit in it. They are not only a chair but a Classic piece of American art.
