About the Item
Very stylish French settee exhibiting Directoire style transitioning to French Empire style. The settee is painted, but was probably originally in mahogany. It's graceful shape is accented with small panels of pierced classical inspired carving and has graceful shaped legs. Simplicity at its most stylish.
