1963 Luigi Caccia Dominioni-Sofa series P11 Fasce Cromate upholstery

About the Item

“The design of a furniture piece has involved the production of my pieces in small series; in this way, I had the opportunity to rigorously control every part of the object, which I would later use in my furnishings.” Considered the architect of Milan, since the beginning Luigi Caccia Dominioni measured himself with design. In 1947 he founded Azucena with Ignazio Gardella, the very first company for the production of modern furniture elements. In his models one can find craftsmanship, attention to detail and timeless elegance merged in a masterly balance. Produced by Azucena, Milan, 1963 Steel frame, cushions upholstered and leather upholstery 211x71x82 cm 83x28x32 in

  • Azucena ABCD Two-Seat Sofa by Luigi Caccia Dominioni
    By Luigi Caccia Dominioni, Azucena
    Located in Novedrate, IT
The greatest designers know only too well that success lies in the detail. Luigi Caccia Dominioni took a forensic interest in all his work, whether a large-scale architectural project or a piece of furniture. The ABCD armchair is the acme of design and it continues to surprise us today. Through subtle changes to Caccia Dominioni’s original concept and drawing, this very traditional reading chair has been updated to meet the needs of contemporary living. • Vintage Fuchsia Sofa by Luigi Caccia Dominioni for Azucena
    By Azucena, Luigi Caccia Dominioni
    Located in Milano, IT
Gorgeous fabric sofa designed by Luigi Caccia Dominioni for the fine manufacturer Azucena Italia. The vintage sofa is made of brown, fuchsia and purple striped fabric, which creates a very colorful geometric effect. The lines are very hard and geometric, wonderfully eccentric. The frame is made of anodized aluminum, shiny silver, which connects to the spectacularly beautiful square, hollowed out feet. The cushions also act as square armrests, very colorful. The sofa comes from the Rome home of Luigi Caccia Dominioni. The colored sofa are ideal for furnishing eccentric and colorful living rooms.
