About

"Megara" is a four-seat sofa, designed by Gordon Guillamier and manufactured by Driade, featuring a wooden structure and metal inserts, goose feather and different densities polyurethane foams padding. Available with removable velvet and fabric or fixed leather covers. Optional small cushions are also available. Indoor use only. Available in quick ship. DIMENSIONS: D. 40.1", W. 109", H. 33.4", Seat H. 16.1" As an exercise in style, refinement and essentiality, Megara sofa features rounded lines of the backrest which smoothly flows into the armrest and creates a refined detail just before joining the seat: almost a cushion sinking into the backrest. A terminal element, a day-bed, an ottoman and a coffee table define the set to convey an idea of complete and timeless elegance. A left or right corner element, a central element with two seats, a central element with left or right ottoman, a low table in American walnut and textile structure complete the whole set, so you can rearrange your living environment by recombining and/or switching around the sofa components according to your needs. The different components and also a vast sampler of upholstery offer a wide range of choices and customization: here's a sofa which fits into different sized spaces and can easily satisfy any need. It was created for lovers of classic seating solutions, with a touch of originality. GORDON GUILLAUMIER was born in Malta and educated in Switzerland, England and Italy. He graduated in Industrial design at the IED, Milan (1988-91) and later at the Domus Academy, Milan (1992).
