Saarinen Swanson Wrought Iron with Wood Frame Couch
About
Eva Lisa Saarinen Swanson daughter of Eliel Saarinen and sister of Eero Saarinen married Robert Swanson. Together and with Eliel Saarinen they formed the Saarinen Swanson group. Designing furniture for a modern homes her husband and father were designing. This pair if from the Sol- Aire group for Ficks Reed of Michigan. Solid oak seat frames are supported by wrought iron base. White rope is woven through eyelets on the backside for back cushion support.
