About the Item

Radical folding and transportable design by Starck. Suitable for use or as art pieces. Driade production 1985 France/Italy. In good vintage condition, minor scratches. A design of deceptive simplicity, Starck’s Mickville chair plays a deft trick. A rotating segment in the tubular back enables movement in one leg, thus allowing the circular seat to be dropped into a vertical position. In profile the displaced seat is a mirror of the top loop. The folded structure can be hung or leaned against a wall.
