'Chaos' is a wall art installation shelving unit made in aluminium as part of Alexandre Arrechea and SoShiro's collaborative Layers collection. The work incorporates the photomontage elements of Havana’s buildings as seen in Arrechea's series Corners, resulting in a playful printed digital-like lettering often associated with retro LCD technologies. The word CHAOS contextualizes its intended library setting and helps to define or question everything that is placed in it. Art and design come together to create a dual-purpose collector’s piece, at once a work of art and wall shelves.
