French Pine Astral Glazed Bookcase Cabinet with Column Supports
About the Item
Amazing early 20th century French pine bookcase cabinet featuring astral glazed doors and neoclassical style corinthian column supports on each side. The two part case is surmounted by a stepped cornice molding supported by two columns. The columns flank three astral glazed cabinet doors with round wood pulls. The doors open to a three-shelved display storage area. The bottom case is fronted by three drawers above three paneled storage doors opening to a shelved storage area. The cabinet has solid joinery and construction with intricate carved details on the columns and moldings. The pine has a desirable aged patina as seen in photos that showcase the rich woodgrains. The Georgian style case is elevated by the neoclassical taste columns. The pine has an aged patina in a country French aesthetic.
