Talk about a Nice pair of legs!!!! Attributed to Bernhardt Flair, this is a Gorgeous credenza or buffet comprised of beautiful Rosewood featuring wonderful Lucite leg panels with chrome screw details. In the right light it has a floating appearance! SO cool!! The front bares 3 pair of doors with phenomenal wood grain door fronts and lovely chrome pulls. The right and left pair of doors open to reveal a drawer at the top and nice open storage space below while the center doors have a shelf behind them. This beauty is attributed to Bernhardt’s Flair Collection and Milo Baughman designed similar pieces as well so, it’s sure to be a conversation starter wherever it is used. It will be a showstopper in your living room, family room, study, or dining area adorned with your favorite artwork, sculptures, or foliage and it has a ton of space for linens, books, games, and everything in between. It is built with high quality and undeniably exquisite mid-century modern to modern style.
Bernhardt Furniture was established in 1889 by John Mathias Bernhardt and has been going strong for over 125 years. He spent many years out west in Oregon Territory. After a serious illness, traveling back home to Lenoir, North Carolina and working as a logger in the densely forested foothills of Grandfather Mountain. He went to work for Caldwell Land and Lumber Company and while working there he convinced them to build a railroad to move lumber and supplies. He then purchased his own sawmill and began buying timber. The next step of manufacturing his own furniture followed soon after bringing the birth of Bernhardt Furniture. He became known as a man of integrity, giving back to his community and for producing high quality furniture. A legacy was born. It was carried on and improved upon by his sons, George Bernhardt, and John Christian Bernhardt, and eventually his grandson, Alex Bernhardt Sr. Through the years they grew, expanded, diversified, bought other companies, sold other companies, created divisions, and let them go. Two important names in all the comings and goings were Flair and Hibriten. By 1982 Bernhardt had dropped their Flair Division and the Hibriten Furniture name going only by Bernhardt Furniture. Bernhardt Furniture remains a family owned company with Alex Bernhardt Jr. now the 4th generation to be involved. They continue John Mathias’ legacy of integrity, high-quality furnishings, and giving back to their community.
High quality, versatility, impeccable style, and LUCITE LEGS!!!… This Rosewood credenza or buffet attributed to Bernhardt Flair has it ALL! What are you waiting for? Make it yours!!

Vintage Mid-Century Modern Club Lounge Chair by Flair Division for Bernhardt
By Bernhardt
Located in Topeka, KS
Handsome Mid-Century Modern club chair or lounge chair from the Flair Division of Bernhardt Furniture. It is in wonderful vintage condition and wearing its original light turquoise blue nubby fabric. It has been professionally cleaned but the fabric does have fading as you would expect and there are still stains but no holes or tears. It will be at its best recovered. It is priced accordingly. Please see photos, circa 1960s.
I must tell you when we walked into the home where we obtained this chair and many of our other recent and soon to be offerings, I thought if I was ever going to faint this is the time. Of course, the house itself blew me away and then……the original furniture and art in all its glory. This chair is part of a three-piece living room suite by Bernhardt Furniture Flair Division and we are offering all three pieces this week. This club chair with its Lawson styling and loose cushions is really comfy; plus, it is held up off the floor with a fabulous base. The base or legs are comprised of a pair of walnut planks turned upright and running from front to back on each side of the chair. Simple yet dynamic.
