French 19th Century Louis XVI St. Mahogany, Ormolu, & Marble Deux-Corps Cabinet
About the Item
An extremely elegant and high quality French mid-19th century Louis XVI st. mahogany, brass and ormolu mounted Deux-Corps cabinet. The cabinet is raised by topie shaped legs below two curved solid mahogany doors and two central doors. The doors are designed with a moulded border and a brass band. Above are four drawers and two larger doors. On each side are two tiers with white Carrara marble and a large pierced ormolu gallery. The top is also finished with an ormolu gallery.
