Midcentury Trumeau Handpainted in Italy Wood Venetian Art Technique by Cupioli

About the Item

This Trumeau has been handmade using the technique of Venetian art. In the 18th century in Venice the fashion of lacquering spread. Using small prints, cut out and then glued on the wood, then handpainted and lacquered at the end. The finishing was in fact in shellac which, passed in several very thin layers, gave brightness and uniformity to the decoration. This type of finishing was placed both on the outside of the Venetian furniture of the eighteenth century, and on the inside of the drawers and doors . The wooden structure of this piece of furniture is hidden by a flowering of pleasant designs. The craquelé finishing tipical of ancient painting is created from the passage of the time and it's one of the fascinating feature that makes us appreciate antique and unique pieces like this one. All drawers are internally upholstered with fine velvet and trimmings finishes Size : cm. 120x53xh. 235 inches. 47,24" x 20,87 x h. 92.52. Red wall Art Panel with decorations in relief Handmade in Italy by Cupioli

Red wall Art Panel with decorations in relief Handmade in Italy by Cupioli . Scagliola art panel decoration in relief realised on a wooden support and with a white wooden frame to decorate your walls. "Preposition with which the Heraclitis express the eternal becoming of reality, comparing the latter to a river that only apparently remains one and identical, but which in fact continually renews itself and transforms itself, so that it is not given to dive into it more than once, because the second time strictly speaking it is not the same river as the first one. This conception constitutes the antithesis of that of the absolute eternal unity and immutability of being. In one fragment Heraclitus emphasizes that man can never experience twice as much, since every entity, in its apparent reality, is subjected to the inexorable law of change Artistical Technique: Scagliola art on wood panel...
